Переглядів 2,8 тис.Рік тому
In this video, I discussed whether it's a good idea to plant a small plant directly into a bigger pot. Although it may seem like an easy way to save time, energy, and resources, it is actually a bad idea as it can cause soil compaction, lead to root rot, and risk of developing root burn. The video goes on to explain how changing the soil, repotting your plant when the roots outgrow the pot and ...

How much
Thanks! Now I know that I'm overwatering it
Why you didnt mention the fermentation of banana peels genius woman? You just let it sit in bottle instead for a day or two, for a week or two. depends on temperature and you have excelent fertilizer,, that ctualy reppels insects and fungus
I want to attract birds to my garden to eat the insects
Adding crushed eggshells then would act like oystershell flour , releasing nutrients over time. Something you'd add every few years
I always have heard you need to burn the banana peels into ash for the potassium to become available.
how will i knw about my soil nutrient can u reply?
Out of curiosity…. Is it deliberate that anything that’s Printed that we watch is Backwards? Or just lack of camera gear or time? Just wondering
LISTING ALTERNATIVES IN PRINT WOULD BE HELPFUL BECAUSE I CANT WRITE FAST ENOUGH. I’m trying to find something that absorbs water & with the Ya & Boo’s of MOMS FAVO PEATMOSS( SHE’s too elder now so won’t be using but still loves flowers) I find out all the OTHER BAD FROM YOU I NEVER KNEW ABOUT. Back to being stuck. ANWAY VERY INFORMATIVE! I’m seeing this in 2024
Thank you!!! ❤
Please tell me how to use this in acne face
I have one tomato plant I've been feeding banana juice to and the plant is only 10" tall (like a hanging plant) with over 20 tomatoes fruiting right now. Everyone who sees this plant can't believe how many tomatoes are on it. The only other thing I did was mix in compost when I transplanted it. Either way using left over fruit/veggie scraps has done wonders in my garden. I'm thinking of making a tea with fruit/veggie scraps and feed that to my plants as well.
Thank you!
My pilea has pups but it’s very dull, brown not like in video. Looks very sad 😔 please help me
Thank you from u.k. for you advice plants are doing fine
Please where can I get it
🙏❤️
I think the thing to note is that banana peels are usually just thrown away, unlike the other fruits and vegetables you mentioned that are consumed.
Thank for the info 😮
I had five trees in my yard when I was living in South Africa, three dogs and a cat. Nothing ever happened to them. I bought the house already with the trees and I didn't know they were poisonous. I do really like them they're beautiful and give a wonderful smell to your garden. Pity I can't get one where I live now (too cold).
Hi, I live in Atlanta zone 8, and it's definitely warm and humid. I overwatered one last year in a pot, and this year I bought two more (trees) and one of them just started shriveling the inner leaves and dropping lots of green leaves too. With a soil moisture tester, it wasn't dry two inches down, but I went ahead and watered it. It's getting direct hot 90 degrees sun from noon till 4:30. The other one is still doing okay with the direct sun from 2:30-5:30. I have several holes in the pot, and it drains very well, but I don't know if I should be keeping it moist instead of letting it dry out? I don't have any yellow leaves. Should I move it to a shady place? I grow a lot of annuals in containers and a couple of Tacoma Stans yellow bells which are very easy. Thanks.
Subscribed from Mizoram...really luv it.Thanks
Oh wow! I am loving that one. I have never seen that before. That is gorgeous darling.

I did notice so many flys. When I put the banana fertilizer. She is right. I guess I put too much. It killed a couple of my plants. She knows what she is talking about.
Hello, NEW SUBSCRIBER.. I've had a really healthy monstera plant for several years. Recently I had to. Change the pot & my plant began looking sad, it's leaves curled under , only not the top ones which look healthy & happy. I'm often give my plants victims by way of fertilizer & spray them, so i I'm trying too find out what to do next. The plant has had a couple of incidents which may have made it depressed looking, A picture hanging above it fell off & onto it about six months ago, so my amy BEAUTIFUL leaves were badly damaged also the stems many breaking off,. I was devastated!! Also I've noticed that the stems seem heavy so causing it to droop. Can I use something to help it out. Thanks for your info , I'm sure il find a cure somewhere on your channel.
Madam, Can we use banana peel powder to sugarcane crop?
All negative, nothing constructive. Yes, understand plants need a balanced diet like us so can we provide coffee grind for the N, black soldier fly frass for the P and banana skin water for the K to make their fertilizing complete. Understand the frass already contained all three but I was hoping to achieve zero waste kitchen to make use of the grind from my morning coffee and I love eggs so have plenty of shell to be reused. Any suggesting how to increase the P content instead? May God bless use to reduce kitchen waste!🙏🙄
Hi there, The best way to reduce or reuse the kitchen scraps is by composting them properly. The kitchen solid waste needs to be decomposed by the microbes so that the nutrients are bioavailable for the roots to absorb easily. Egg shells take a very long time to decompose. If not decomposed properly, they are of no use to the plants. To speed up the decomposition process, you can crush the egg shells before throwing them in your compost pile which will help the microbes to decompose them quickly.
Great video, thanks for the info
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.

😊I would like to know what to put in a compost, for my garden?Thank you for your information about the banana peels
For a healthy compost pile, balance nitrogen-rich green materials (like fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, tea bags, grass clippings, eggshells, herbivore manure, seaweed, green leaves, plant trimmings, fresh herbs, and spent flowers) with carbon-rich brown materials (such as dry leaves, straw, shredded paper and cardboard, untreated sawdust, dried cornstalks, pine needles, dry grass clippings, nut shells, small twigs, and non-bleached coffee filters). You can also add hair, fur, feathers, natural fibre rags, natural wine corks, vacuum cleaner dust, and dryer lint. Avoid meat, dairy, oils, diseased plants, weeds with seeds, carnivorous pet waste, inorganic materials, treated wood, charcoal ash, and large wood pieces. Regularly turn the pile, keep it moist, and chop materials for faster decomposition.
The most important point made was the Npk difference between the water soluble and the dry. The dry had a higher K of 11.4 % as compared to the water soluble was 6% or less.

Something is eating my kalanchoe leaves. The plants are in pots in my balcony. I cannot see any insects or snugs. I already sprayed it with Neem oil twice. But the problem continues. In addition, the leaves are now sticky (not sure if that’s because of the Neem oil). I also placed cracked egg shells on the soil. What else can I do? Thank you.
